dc.description Built at Buffalo in 1881, the "Uarda" was a steam yacht owned by C. D. Waterman of Detroit. She was converted to a passenger boat and owned at Mt. Clemons, Michigan being used for excursions for shore resorts on the Clinton and St. Clair Rivers besides going to Detroit. She also ran Hancock & Houghton to resorts on Portage Lake. She was owned at Marquette, Michigan in 1919 and probably ran the Apostle Island route on Lake Superior. She was abandoned at Marquette in 1921. en
