Title: Victoria - 25868 (later years)
Author: Unknown
Description: "Victoria" is pictured in her last days after being rebuilt. Made of wood at Detroit in 1872, she ran the Detroit River from Detroit to Windsor or Belle Isle. A nickel fare provided passengers as many roundtrips as desired, as long as they didn't get off the boat. When the bridge and tunnel were built in the late 1930s, these trips were discontinued. The "Victoria's" rigging was changed to a scow barge in 1924 and she was abandoned and lay at Peche Island dock in 1925 and was eventually dismantled in 1929.
