| Description: | The "Planet" was built by John Bushnell in 1855 at Marine City, Michigan. She was wooden steamer of 1153 gross tonnage. Her rig was changed to that of a barge. in 1867. She became waterlogged off the piers at Two Rivers, Wisconsin in 1872. She was surrendered as a "total wreck" two years later. This image shows her at Milwaukee, Wisconsin |
